Michael McMahon

Michael McMahon BSc, MSc, PG Dip, is an experienced MSK clinician specialising in ultrasound-guided injection therapy. With a strong background in the NHS and elite sports, he provides expert diagnosis and treatment for athletes and individuals alike, helping them return to peak performance.

Michael has worked for the English Institute of Sport with Olympic and Paralympic athletes. He has also worked in sports such as rugby, Gaelic football and for many years in premiership academy football for Brentford F.C. and Tottenham Hotspur F.C.

Following completion of his BSc Hons Physiotherapy in 2005, Michael has undertaken extensive post graduate training, including in Injection Therapy in 2014 and an MSc in Advanced Practice Physiotherapy in 2017. He is one of the select few nationally to have undertaken a PG Diploma in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography combining qualifications in Diagnostic Ultrasound & US Guided Injection Therapy obtained through the University of East London.

Michael now offers NHS and consultancy services utilising ultrasound scanning and collaborates with GPs, consultants, and specialists to manage complex MSK cases. He is committed to delivering Precision Care with Guided Expertise. All patients must complete a medical screening before booking a guided injection. This ensures it is safe to proceed and that the treatment is appropriate for your condition. The screening may involve a brief telephone review. Once complete, you’ll be invited to attend the clinic for your injection.
