Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates
Move Better. Feel Stronger. Stay Injury-Free.
Our Clinical Pilates sessions are designed to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and pain free living.
Led exclusively by qualified physiotherapists, our Pilates is not a generic class, it’s a clinically guided approach tailored to your body, your history, and your goals.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing ongoing pain, or simply want to move with more control and confidence, Clinical Pilates provides a safe, structured way to build strength and resilience.
What Makes Our Pilates Different?
Most Pilates classes are instructor-led with a general approach.
Ours is different.
Led by physiotherapists – every session is guided by a clinician who understands injury, movement, and progression
Small group sessions only – one-to-one or one-to-two for full attention and correction
Individually tailored exercises – even within a small group setting
Clinically focused – designed to support recovery, reduce pain, and prevent future injury
You’re not just following a routine, you’re working through a plan that’s right for your body.
Start with a Complimentary Clinical Assessment
Before joining our Clinical Pilates sessions, we begin with a complimentary 20-minute assessment with one of our physiotherapists.
This is an important part of how we ensure our sessions are both safe and effective.
During this assessment, we:
Discuss your medical and injury history
Assess your movement and current ability
Identify any limitations or risk factors
Recommend the most appropriate starting point
This approach protects you from doing the wrong type of exercise at the wrong time, and ensures every session is tailored to your needs from day one.
Our Approach
Every session is built around quality of movement, not just repetition.
We focus on:
Core stability and control
Movement efficiency
Strength through full range
Balance and coordination
Gradual, safe progression
Because sessions are kept small, we can ensure:
Correct technique at all times
Real-time adjustments
Progressions that match your ability
Types of Clinical Pilates We Offer
We offer both Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates, depending on your needs, ability, and goals.
Mat Pilates
Mat-based exercises focus on:
Core control and stability
Bodyweight strength
Movement awareness and coordination
This is often a great starting point for those new to Pilates or returning after injury.
Reformer Pilates
Using specialist equipment, Reformer Pilates allows for:
More controlled, supported movement
Adjustable resistance for strength progression
Greater precision in targeting specific muscle groups
This is particularly useful for rehabilitation, strength building, and more advanced progression.
